WRAPPINGBAND PRODUCTS

SELF-HEALING CORROSION PREVENTATIVE WRAP MATERIALS.

STOPAQ Wrappingband products are corrosion-preventative wrap materials, which adhere extremely well to steel and factory or field-applied pipeline coatings. They are non-toxic, cold-applied, prefabricated wrap coatings based on the pure homopolymer, Polyisobutene, a low viscosity, non-crystalline, non-crosslinked (fully amorphous) compound.

MECHANICAL PROTECTION

OUTERWRAP AND HIGH IMPACT SHIELD PRODUCTS

A series of PVC, polyethylene and cross-linked polyethylene tapes used for mechanical protection of STOPAQ corrosion preventative coatings. STOPAQ High Impact Shield wraparound heat shrinkable sleeves consist of an irradiation cross-linked polyethylene backing and an internal adhesive.

Additional Mechanical Protection

Additional mechanical protection to meet various performance requirements

STOPAQ Outerglass Shield is used as additional mechanical protection on STOPAQ corrosion preventative coating systems comprising Wrappingband and Outerwrap materials. In order to obtain the desired resistance to mechanical loads, multiple layers can be applied.

STOPAQ Polyester is applied on top of STOPAQ corrosion-preventing coating systems to provide additional resistance against mechanical impacts, weathering, UV-radiation and chemicals. After curing with UV-light, it forms a hard and rigid shell.
